My photographic journey

Guest book

This is the guest book. You are my guest. This is your book. Write something in your book. Leave your mark, let me know you were here or tell me what you think about my work. This is the place for that. This is the guest book.

Great blog! I’m in love with photography, too, so it will be fun to explore your blog and see what you’ve found along your personal photographic journey. Looking forward to reading and seeing much more.

Number 2 to comment. Does this mean I just get plain old glory instead of ‘eternal glory’? Eh, I’ll take what I can get. I just wanted to say thank you for visiting my blog. I like to return the favor ๐Ÿ™‚ I enjoy seeing other people’s journey with photography and I’m always looking to learn something new. Good luck!!

I’m sure you’ll like it. Also consider getting the SC-28 extension cable. It’s a whole new world once you get the flash off the camera.

You have a nice looking and interesting site. Going to have to check out all those bug photos! ๐Ÿ™‚ Very impressive, especially considering that it is a recent hobby.

    Rifqi,

I discovered you through your comment on my photography blog. And, I thank you very much for checking it out. For your kindness and interest, I was intrigued to see your work. Let me say this, your photos are amazing. I love the macro bugs especially, though your family pictures are wonderful as well. And, may I say, what a beautiful family you have.

I, sincerely and truly, am an actual arachnophobiac. So, needless to say, your spider shots really bothered me. Not because they are bad, but rather because they are too good. And creepy.

Nice work. I look forward to checking your site often. HI to the family from me. And, thank you again for your visit to mine.

Thank you very much, glad you like my photos. I had another look at your blog and it seems you also enjoy shooting small things. Have you considered getting a macro lens? If it’s something you enjoy it opens up a whole new world. Or you could consider a set of extension tubes if a lens is too much money before you know if it’s something you want to explore.

Sorry about the spiders, they’re one of my favourite subjects, when I can find them. Perhaps I should introduce a warning sign on posts containing particularly creepy crawlers, though even some of the more innocent ones can look creepy up close :p

The weather is less than promising this weekend but I’m still hoping to get some more bug shots, so you’re welcome back at any time.

Currently, I am running around with a 70/300 mm macro lens. I’ve been shopping around for a stronger lens though.
I, too, am expecting interesting weather this weekend, but will be making the best of it regardless.

Thanks for your nice comment on my macro photo – I like you blog, and I’ve even considered to lift my self-imposed ban on using flash after reading it.

I was also very anti flash before I started learning more about it, now I can\t imagine not having a couple of flashes in my kit. Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks for visiting my blog – still have some to read on yours. I’ve only been using my DSLR for a year or so, so still heaps to learn. Macros are favourites, but other stuff as well. Wish I had the courage to try street photography like your guest writer….

That’s one of the good things about macro, you can annoy your subjects as much as you want, though sometimes you get strange looks from people passing by :p The family is also a good source of victems subjects to harras.

Thanks, glad you like it. The theme I’m using is a premium theme so you have to pay for it. I wasn’t planning on spending money on the blog but I fell in love with that theme so I had to have it :p It’s well worth it since it’s a one time fee and then it’s yours forever.
